A high-heeled shoe is the alleged murder weapon in a recent Georgia domestic homicide. Police say Robert Higdon, 58, died in the early hours of August 1, after his live-in girlfriend, Thelma Carter, 46, hit him on the head with her shoe. The altercation followed an argument over the couple's puppy. Alcohol is said to have been a factor in the incident.
Carter was charged with one count of murder and is being held without bond. She has admitted to hitting Higdon with her shoe. Initial autopsy results, however, were inconclusive as to Higdon's cause of death. Additional toxicology tests will be performed.
Higdon had a grown daughter, who lives in South Carolina. Other surviving family members include his parents, brother, and a niece and nephew.

this story and countless other stories about crimes to which alcohol is involved should have the government watch over the effects of alcohols in their citizens. alcohol should be banned in the country so as to stop cases like this from happening.
